Product Overview

Yamaha A-S3200 integrated amplifier features a fully-balanced circuit with floating design, a fully discrete headphone amplifier, and custom feet from the 5000 series. It also utilizes high quality polyphenylene sulfide film capacitors, brass screws and gilding oxygen free copper terminals for block capacitor terminals.
Compared to its smaller sibling, the A-S2200, the A-S3200 adds an additional XLR input and larger level meters.

Reviewers from whathifi have found:
Yamaha A-S3200 is a well-equipped integrated high-end stereo amplifier. The phono stage sounds lively and has us playing record after record thanks to the combination of finesse, control and detail. It's a shame there's no electrical loading adjustability to optimise the results for any specific cartridge.
Pros
  • Impressive clarity and detail
  • Impressive phono stage
  • Decent build quality
Cons
  • Lacks dynamic punch and verve
