Product Overview

Cambridge Audio Edge W features a unique Class XA amplification technology that shifts the crossover point out of audible range, thus combining the sound quality of Class A with the efficiency of Class AB. It employs an opposing symmetry twin toroidal transformer that cancels out stray electromagnetic interference. Weighing 24kg, the bulk of the power amplifier is the main issue and you don’t want to be moving it around if you can help it. Set up is easy enough, providing you take things slowly and methodically. The NQ/W offers both impressive amounts of detail, as well as the vital ability to string it all together in a musically coherent way.
