Mark Levinson No. 585.5 is a high-end class A/B integrated amplifier with a Pure Path Phono preamplifier. It is an upgrade to the No. 585 integrated amplifier by adding the Pure Phono capability and other new features while retaining the existing Precision Link DAC and analog inputs.
The phono stage found in No. 585.5 is the same as the one found in No. 523 and No. 526 preamplifiers.It employs discrete analog circuitry throughout and is capable of driving the most demanding exotic loudspeakers, delivering 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 350 watts into 4 ohms.
