CineBeam laser projector HU85L and LED projector HU70L are LG's first Ultra Short Throw (UST) projects. Thanks to LG's Wheel-less laser and LED technology, they reproduce color with more accuracy compared to traditional DLP (digital light processing) projectors with color wheels.
With UST technology, the HU85L can be set at 5.6 cm from the wall to project a 90-inch diagonal image.

It also offers a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and a brightness of a hefty 2,700 lumens. The projector uses a 3CH laser, which is an upgrade from dual-laser projectors, and as a result it is able to cover 97% of the DCI-P3 color space.
