Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac), whose screen vibrates to allow the diffusion of sound. Just like the LG G8, this G8S ThinQ offers gesture navigation to unlock your smartphone using the palm of your hand and other features to perform different actions using hand movements. Hand ID and Air Motion are complicated and do not make it any easier to use the smartphone.
Pros
- Good cameras
- Good battery life
- Fast charging
Cons
- Not the best camera
- No Android 10

Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)The G8S ThinQ features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, a staple of 2019 flagships. Our review unit falls short of the OnePlus 7 Pro and Xperia 1 in synthetic benchmarks, but it still holds its own against the Galaxy S10e, the Huawei P30, and its predecessor, the G7 ThinQ. The display has a highly reflective finish, which can impede readability in bright sunlight.
Pros
- Bright OLED display
- Decent battery life
- Fast Wi-Fi
Cons
- Mediocre cameras
- Slow microSD card reader
