Product Overview

Dell Latitude 9510 is a premium 15-inch business laptop available as both a clamshell and a 2-in-1 convertible. Powered by 10th-gen Intel Comet Lake U-series CPUs, the Latitude 9510 features a rich set of I/O options in an ultra-thin chassis just over half an inch in height.
For business users that need a powerful device for productivity on the go, Dell has endowed the Latitude 9510 with a large 88Wh battery, which is aided by ExpressCharge Boost that gives 35% of charge in 20 minutes and up to 80% of charge in an hour. Its I/O options include Thunderbolt 3, WiFi 6, and 5G, which are some of the best available from 2020.
The laptop's CNC aluminum chassis is both elegant and durable, while the 2-in-1 model also features Corning Gorilla Glass DX on the touchscreen.
As a business model, the Latitude 9510 offers a full set of security options; it is also easy to deploy and manage in large organization.
Alongside the Latitude 9510, Dell also refreshed other Latitude models at CES 2020, including the Latitude 9410.

laptopmag[1]

Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
On Geekbench 4.3, the Latitude 9510 scored 21,462, surpassing the premium laptop average. It took 20 minutes and 33 seconds to transcode a 4K video to 1080p on our HandBrake benchmark. Dell's 512GB SSD copied 4.97GB of data in 10.3 seconds, translating to 494 megabytes per second. But Dell's 720p shooter developed some blurry, blotchy photos.
Pros
  • Stunning 4K display
  • Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
  • Solid battery life
Cons
  • No discrete graphics
  • No Thunderbolt 3

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
Dell uses the same backlit keyboard across the Latitude 7310, 7410, and 9510. The Precision clickpad is slightly larger than the one on the HP Envy x360 15. There are no included extras in the box. Three-year warranty comes standard with options to extend up to five years.
Pros
  • Slim bezels
  • Fast Wi-Fi 6
  • Sleek design
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Display could be brighter
  • Slow response times
  • No Thunderbolt 3

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Dell Latitude 9510 is one of the thinnest and best-looking 15-inch business laptops. Its price is difficult to justify for most mainstream or even small-business buyers. The laptop's lack of a discrete GPU really holds it back on our gaming benchmarks.
Pros
  • Superb keyboard and touchpad
  • Excellent battery life
  • Powerful Core i7 processor
Cons
  • No discrete GPU
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

pcworld[4]

Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcworld have found:
Dell uses theWaves Nx Dimension audio technology to bolster its own presets for anything from a quiet room to a noisy office. Turning off the audio enhancement, or turning on and off the 3D audio capabilities, tweaks the aural experience noticeably. In contrast to the speakers, the Latitude 9510's user-facing camera is decidedly subpar.
Pros
  • Slim, light design
  • Good audio performance
  • Built-in Wi-Fi
Cons
  • Subpar webcam
  • No physical shutter

t3[5]

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from t3 have found:
The screen is a particularly lovely one, 1080p resolution and nicely non-reflective with side bezels that are some of the thinnest we've seen. Inside our review model there was a six-core/12-thread tenth-generation Intel i7 CPU and 16GB of RAM. The power button has a built-in fingerprint reader, and is slightly harder to press than the other keys. Wireless is the new Wi-Fi 6 standard, with Bluetooth 5.1.
Pros
  • Gorgeous screen
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Poor webcam

techadvisor[6]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techadvisor have found:
The Latitude 9510 laptop and 2-in-1 are impressively light, considering display size, weighing just 3.2lbs. The laptop offers Full HD visuals (1920 x 1080) and a 16:9 aspect ratio and an anti-glare finish. It will support 5G connectivity, thanks to an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 Global 5G modem. The Latitude should also accommodate 30 hours of battery life, which Dell claims is the highest for any 15in business laptop.
Pros
  • Gorgeous display
  • 5G connectivity
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No 5G support
