digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus costs $1,200 and can be purchased through Samsung's website. In the U.K. the phone costs 1,000 British pounds, and I tested the phone on the Vodafone network, where it's available with a contract starting from 68 pounds each month. The phone is made from glass so be careful or wrap it in a case, but good news is IP68-rated for water resistance.
Pros
- Great camera
- Fast charging
- Great battery life
Cons
- No 5G
- No IP68 water resistance
nextpit[2]
Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy S20 Plus has a 64 MP sensor with an equivalent focal length of 27 mm. It is a traditional wide-angle lens that zooms by cropping the image to simulate a 3x zoom. The ToF (time of flight) sensor allows the smartphone to "map" the scene in 3D to better identify depth elements.
Pros
- Very good battery life
- Good camera performance
- Fast charging
Cons
- No IP rating
- No wireless charging
- No IP certification
techadvisor[3]
Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)All three models come with 5G as standard, you can opt for a 4G-only Galaxy S20 (for £100 less) The user experience is unmistakably Samsung, with the company's One UI 2.1 running atop Android 10.1. Improvements have been made to make Bixby less intrusive, while still being able to deliver pertinent information with a swipe right from the main home screen.
Pros
- Super-fast 5G
- Good battery life
- Good value for money
Cons
- No in-display fingerprint sensor
- No 5G as standard
techradar[4]
Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy S20 Plus is one of the first mainstream phones to connect to mmWave and sub-6 5G networks. Its 12GB of RAM should breeze through games, media binges, and multi-app multitasking. The phone has a 4,500mAh battery, which feels sufficient in our testing.
Pros
- Gorgeous display
- 5G connectivity
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre cameras
- No wireless charging
tomsguide[5]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus' battery life takes a severe hit if you enable the 120Hz refresh rate. It may not cost as much as the S20 Ultra, but $1,199 isn't exactly cheap. For $200 less, you're getting equally capable cameras, better-than-average battery life.
Pros
- Top-of-the-line cameras
- Excellent 5G support
- Good battery life
Cons
- No 120Hz refresh rate
- No wireless charging
trustedreviews[6]
Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)Low light performance has been noticeably improved on the S10-line. Colour and contrast are particularly improved, though sharpening has also been reduced. The Plus is free of the focussing issues we found playing the Ultra. Unlike it’s beefier sibling the auto-focus uniformly found its mark outside of very difficult shooting conditions, like mixed lighting.
Pros
- Fantastic 120Hz screen
- Good battery life
- Decent cameras
Cons
- Not as good as the S10-line
- No wireless charging
