Product Overview

The 4th-gen Acura MDX is to come on the market in 2021 as a 2022 model. Unveiled in 2020 as a prototype, the new MDX will be Acura's flagship mid-size, three-row crossover.
The 4th-gen MDX will inherit the current 3.5L naturally-aspirated V6, while a new 3.0L turbocharged V6 will power the Type-S model. Both will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Acura will give the new MDX a suspension setup similar to the newly-revealed 2021 TLX, and Brembo 4-piston brakes will be standard on all four corners.
For models equipped with AWD, Acura will endow them with Honda's 4th-gen Super Handling AWD system with torque vectoring.
Design-wise, Acura touts the improved dash-to-axle ratio that gives the vehicle a sportier profile. Wheelbase will also be increased to give the cabin more space while improving handling.
