Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
The new Pivi Pro infotainment system is now standard fitment on all but the entry-level version of the Discovery Sport and Evoque. We’ve been behind the wheel of the second-from-top Discovery Sport R-Dynamic SE, which is priced from a cool £51,895 outright when equipped with the P300e drivetrain. It’s a well-rounded and stylishly rendered platform.

Pros
  • Superb infotainment system
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent fuel economy
Cons
  • No third row option

Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
The engine is part of Jaguar Land Rover’s Ingenium ‘AJ200’ family. It has previously been added to the line-ups of the Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar and Evoque. On the Discovery Si4, it is mated to the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and four-wheel drive system.

Pros
  • Sleek looks
  • Good standard equipment
  • Decent fuel economy
Cons
  • Pricier than SD4
  • Fiddly infotainment system

Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
Wading depth also remains class-leading, although the Discovery’s commendable breakover, approach and departure angles are easily outdone by its sibling. The decision to swap the lovely Range Rover-inspired steering wheel for one clearly Defender-related is curious. Other tweaks extend to new wheel designs (ranging from 19in to 22in), a subtler front grille and seamless LED headlights – although the offset rear numberplate stubbornly remains.

Pros
  • Class-leading off-road performance
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Excellent infotainment system
Cons
  • Lacklustre diesel engines
  • Not as agile as rivals

autoexpress[4]

Reviewer score 69%
Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
The latest Land Rover Discovery is the most capable yet. It manages to blend the unrivalled off-road ability and toughness of the company's previous 4x4s with a considerably better on-road driving experience and greater efficiency. The Disco is impressively refined, too, while its lighter weight and the addition of Land Rover's twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine have made the seven-seat SUV available to a wider group of buyers.

Pros
  • Excellent off-road capability
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent on-road performance
Cons
  • Pricey compared to the rest of the range

autoexpress[5]

Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
Every Discovery comes with seven seats, unlike Land Rover's smaller Discovery Sport. Other affordable seven-seat SUVs that are cheaper to run and readily available include the SEAT Tarraco and Skoda Kodiaq. If seven seats aren't vital, you could consider a Porsche Cayenne, Range Rover Sport or Volkswagen Touareg.

Pros
  • Powerful engines
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Excellent infotainment system
Cons
  • High running costs
  • Lack of standard equipment

autoexpress[6]

Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
The Land Rover Discovery remains our favourite seven-seat 4x4 if you do need proper space for seven people. It's spacious, as quiet as a luxury car and now boasts one of the best infotainment systems in the business. The attempt to make the Disco more car-like has made the ride slightly less sumptuous than before.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Fantastic infotainment system
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Lots of standard equipment
Cons
  • Not as comfy as it’s supposed to be
  • Some plastics have been downgraded

carmagazine[7]

Reviewers from carmagazine have found the following***:
The Discovery is an underrated car in this regard. It might not be a car these days to hose out after carrying pigs to market, but the Discovery is still a very useful vehicle. The 302bhp 3.0 V6 is classy: insistent yet unobtrusive. There's much less body roll and it rides sumptuously even on 21-inch alloys.

Pros
  • Sleek, classy interior
  • Great boot
  • Decent infotainment
Cons
  • Some niggles
  • Not the most practical

carmagazine[8]

Reviewer score 85%
Reviewers from carmagazine have found the following***:
The Discovery is a full seven-seater, even more so than the Discovery Sport. The Intelligent Seat Fold system lets you raise or lower the system in any combination from the touchscreen, buttons in the boot or, if you feel like showboating, from your smartphone. You can flatten all five rear seats in 14 seconds flat, leaving you with two metres of load length and 2500 litres of space.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Superb off-road capability
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Not as practical as Range Rover Sport
  • Not the most fun to drive

cnet[9]

Reviewer score 68%
Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard, and an optional Wi-Fi hotspot can keep up to eight devices connected to the internet. Charging options are plentiful, with up to nine USB-C charging points across all three rows of seats. The interior has plenty of leather, shiny black trim and some very nice open-pore wood.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Comfortable interior
  • Good driver-assistance tech
Cons
  • Inaccurate infotainment tech
  • Lack of cargo space
