Product Overview
The NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S is the fastest autofocus prime lens that Nikon has ever produced. The bright f/1.2 aperture combined with the 50mm focal length makes this lens an excellent option for portrait, street, landscape, and night photography.
The dual stepping motors (STM) as well as a multi-focusing system enable multiple lens elements to focus simultaneously for faster and more precise AF performance, making the Z 50mm f/1.2 S great for not only stills but also video work.
Like other professional Z-mount lenses, the Z 50mm f/1.2 S features a customizable control ring, shortcut button, and an EL Display panel.

cameralabs[1]
Reviewer score 73%Nikon’s Z 50mm f1.2 S is a big step-up over their existing 50/58mm DSLR lenses. It is excessively big and quite heavy for that it offers a very bright focal ratio. Focus accuracy and repeatability is critical to consistently produce sharp shots. If you use the control ring on the lens to change the aperture this works smoothly and without noise.
