Product Overview

MSI GF75 Thin is a 17.3-inch gaming laptop that features up to 10th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics in a brushed aluminum casing.
Despite having "Thin" in its name, the GF75 is slightly bulkier than the premium ultra-portable GS75 Stealth. Compared to the high-powered GE75 Raider, it also loses the 300Hz display, i9 processor, and more powerful RTX graphics options.
Still, the GF75 Thin offers a feature set similar to that of the GP75 / GL75 Leopard down to optional per-key RGB backlighting. It uses a similar Cooler Boost 5 cooling solution, too.
MSI also markets a 15.6-inch version in the 10th-gen Intel Thin-series, the GF65 Thin.

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The chassis remains identical to last year's GF75 9SC and so our existing comments apply here. The red backlit keyboard here is comfortable to type on with both quieter clatter and firmer feedback than on an Asus Zephyrus or HP Omen. The clickpad is slightly smaller than the one on the GS75 (10.5 x 6.6 cm)

Pros
  • Fast 120 Hz refresh rate
  • Good battery life
  • Good keyboard and touchpad
Cons
  • Dim display
  • No SD card reader

MSI’s Dragon Center allows for a huge variety of system settings adjustments. The GF75 10SDR is a full-fledged gaming notebook capable of running almost all current games smoothly. Its hexa-core CPU and 16 GB of RAM should be more than plenty for the foreseeable future.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • 144 Hz display with 144 Hz refresh rate
  • Good battery life
  • Decent graphics performance
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3
  • No SD card reader

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The MSI GF75 offers decent gaming performance. It can display a smooth frame rate at medium details for most games and is faster than the HP x360 Spectre. Only "Metro Exodus" seems to be too much for the MSI. The speakers are disappointingly low and most sound very distorted.

Pros
  • Matte IPS display
  • High-quality case
  • Good system performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Slow CPU performance
  • No Thunderbolt 3

notebookcheck[4]

Reviewer score 45%
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The GF75 9SC utilizes the same AU Optronics B173HAN04.2 IPS panel as on the older GF75 8RD. Attributes like the respectable contrast ratio, brightness, and gamut remain almost identical between the two generations. The most noticeable drawback of the display is its relatively slow black-white and gray-gray response times.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Relatively low CPU and GPU temperatures
  • High-contrast IPS display
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Nothing in particular
