autocar[1]

Reviewer score 74%
Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
The RS6 is a car that impresses you rather than excites you. Its key calling card is its sheer breadth of abilities, not just performance ones. Its direct rivals – the likes of the BMW M5, Mercedes-AMG E63 Estate and Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo – all feel more engaging and have greater driver appeal.

Pros
  • Impressive straight-line and point-to-point pace
  • Powerful engine
Cons
  • Not the most fun to drive

autocar[2]

Reviewer score 71%
Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
Even on steel springs, the ride is far more compliant than that of the E63 or BMW M5, coping well with poor surfaces. Engine is docile and muted at low to medium revs, with the gearbox shifting smoothly and early when you’re simply taking it easy. The car always feels secure, but this is a reminder that it's a big old bus. Parking is also easier, hypersensitive sensors aside, helping reaffirm this car's suitability as an easy everyday companion.

Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Impressive handling
Cons
  • Not as fast as the E63 or M5

autoexpress[3]

Reviewer score 83%
Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
The Audi RS6 Avant was one of the most expensive estate cars you could buy. With a price tag in excess of £80,000, it offers two cars for the price of one. There are plenty of optional extras, and you could easily raise the car's price to £100k. But the one extra we would highly recommend is the Performance upgrade. Not only does it add more power, it also brings some added aural excitement.

Pros
  • Brilliant performance
  • Punchy interior
  • Fun to drive
Cons
  • Pricey for an estate car
  • Alternatives are more practical

carmagazine[4]

Reviewer score 87%
Reviewers from carmagazine have found the following***:
The outgoing RS6 wasn't exactly in the same league as those. Blame suspension too comfortable, steering too light of heft, and a chassis prone to nose-heaviness. That may have been true once but things are changing at Neckarsulm. While it's still a car you drive like a hot hatch – no need for finesse and delicacy here, simply lean hard on the outside tyres.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Fantastic performance
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • A bit stiff in its most dynamic setting

cnet[5]

Reviewer score 88%
Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
The RS6 Avant looks killer -- properly aggressive with bulges in all the right places. Inside, four different leather colors are available, with beautiful stitching on the seats. The official MSRP won't be available for a few more months, but Audi tells me it will be priced similarly to the RS7 Sportback.

Pros
  • Gorgeous looks
  • Excellent infotainment system
  • Excellent safety tech
Cons
  • Pricey compared to rivals

cnet[6]

Reviewer score 82%
Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
The 2021 Audi RS6 Avant is an expensive proposition, starting at $110,045. The V8 can deactivate half its cylinders under light loads, which can push instantaneous mileage to the 30-mpg mark. Both rows offer up tons of space and visibility, and the cargo area's 30 cubic feet of storage space.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Powerful V8
  • Lots of cargo space
  • Comfortable ride
Cons
  • Expensive for what it offers
  • Lack of standard safety features
