Companies are evaluated based on 23 key performance indicators covering resource management, employee management, financial management, clean revenue, clean investment, and supplier performance. Beyond corporate goals to limit its own emissions, Lenovo is focused on increasing the sustainability of its packaging and products. This month’s CES 2022 announcements included the launch of the new ThinkPad Z-Series laptop that included sustainable materials such as recycled aluminum, or recycled black vegan leather, and packaging that is made from 100% recyclable and compostable bamboo and sugarcane, and an AC power adapter that uses 90% Post-Consumer Content (PCC).

Getting started with Protocol Handlers for your web app
Installed web applications can now register with the operating system as protocol handlers and launch when a specific protocol is invoked. There are other pre-defined protocols but we can see how this concept of “URL protocol” is useful, since it tells the system about an identifier and how to access the identifier. By having the ability to register as protocol handlers, your web app has better integration with the operating system, and can be set to open specific protocols.
