In response to the changing global dynamics for workers today, Lenovo philanthropy is launching the TransforME grant round to partner with organizations focused on skilling adult populations from under-resourced or underrepresented backgrounds with the critical and most sought-after skills for today’s tech workforce. Priority will be given to those partnerships that equip individuals with the skills they need to transform their future through credible, thoughtful and effective training programs that led to career opportunities in emerging technology. “While we’ve focused on increasing access to technology for the future workforce, we recognize that there is an urgent need to skill today’s workforce, and that adults in our communities have the appetite to learn new skills now,” commented Calvin Crosslin, Lenovo Foundation President.

Lenovo Named One of The Financial Time’s 2022 Diversity Leaders
For the third year running, The Financial Times published its annual index of companies leading the way in diversity. With over 12,000 companies operating in Europe, the FT Leaders in Diversity index features only the top 6% of companies, making this a gold standard award for diversity in the region, especially as 30% of company featured in the 2021 list failed to make the cut. To compile the index, more than 100,000 employees across Europe were surveyed to assesses their perception of companies’ inclusiveness or efforts to promote various aspects of diversity include gender balance, openness to all forms of sexual orientation, race and ethnicity, disability and age.

CHICAGO, Dec. 6 2021 – Lenovo and LG Electronics are working together to advance new medical imaging solutions for the radiology community. The offering bundles LG’s high-performance medical monitors with the Lenovo OEM Solutions commercial third-party portfolio of offerings. On the heels of RSNA 2021, the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, the Lenovo-LG bundle will provide diagnostic and clinical solutions in key imaging areas through the combination of Lenovo ThinkStation workstations and LG Medical Monitors.

To celebrate its general availability, we’ve partnered with the Microsoft Mechanics team and resident IT whiz Jeremy Chapman to break down the new Cloud Site List Management experience and teach customers how easy it is to host their own enterprise site lists in the cloud for IE mode in Microsoft Edge.
