December 01, 2021, SHENZHEN, CHINA — Today at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021, OPPO announced to release a new flagship smartphone powered by the new premium Snapdragon® 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform in the first quarter of 2022, making it one of the first companies that will adopt the latest Snapdragon platform. Scott Zhang, OPPO Vice President of Overseas Sales, said, “OPPO maintains close ties with Qualcomm Technologies, and we have brought several 5G smartphones powered by flagship Snapdragon mobile platforms to the market this year, including the Find X3 series and Reno6 series. MBM: Classical Music Recordings of the Highest Standard with Sennheiser RF Condenser Microphones
MBM Mielke Bergfeld Musikproduktion OHG (www.mbmmusikproduktion.de), based in Darmstadt, Germany, specialises in making classical music recordings of the highest quality and was founded in 1998 by Olaf Mielke, Dipl.-Tonmeister/Recording Producer, and Moritz Bergfeld, Dipl.-Tonmeister, Professor of Music Production, Post-Production and Music Acoustics at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The company MBM was founded at a time when the large record companies were significantly reducing their music projects due to a decline in the sales of recorded music on physical media, while at the same time the universities in Detmold and Berlin were still turning out a relatively large number of sound engineering graduates. The young entrepreneurs were helped by the fact that music was being distributed less and less on physical media such as CDs but increasingly through other forms such as streaming, and this trend is continuing: “More recordings are being made now than ever before,” Olaf Mielke points out, referring to orders from record companies, radio stations, film and TV producers, musicians and music festivals who all want to launch ambitious projects on their own.

Sennheiser proves essential component for extreme location recording
Sound recordist George Vlad travels to some of the most remote places on earth to record the unobstructed sound of nature. I realised I was more excited about the sound design aspect than anything else and I would spend days creating a synthesizer patch that sounded great to me. After a while I became interested in natural sounds and using them to create new sounds.

Sennheiser and 1 Beyond announce advanced camera tracking solution for TeamConnect Ceiling 2
Audio specialist Sennheiser and 1 Beyond, industry leader in camera tracking solutions, announce the release of a new camera tracking solution that offers voice-activated camera tracking for rooms of any size: classrooms, boardrooms, multi-purpose meeting spaces and more. This solution leverages the audio quality and accurate beam position information provided by the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone array combined with 1 Beyond’s advanced camera positioning algorithm to offer close-up shots of people speaking in a room, whether they are seated or standing anywhere in a room. Multiple ceiling microphones can be combined to cover larger spaces and up to 12 cameras can be placed anywhere to get the best camera angles regardless of where the speaker is located.
