The 2020 Huawei MateBook X is an ultrabook that combines the elegant design of the company's flagship with innovative technology. Weighting just 1kg and measuring a mere 13.6mm at its thickest part, the 2020 MateBook X features a 3K Infinite FullView Display.
The new MateBook X comes with a 90% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive user experience. The new touchpad is 26% larger than that found in the previous model, while the new full-size keyboard features scissors switches that offer 1.3mm of key travel.
The 2020 MateBook X's quad-speaker setup marries two tweeters with two woofers that offer a superior multimedia experience.

Reviewer score 77%The Huawei MateBook X for 2020 is one of the best-looking Windows 10 laptops we've seen. It's beautifully designed and built, and comes with a superb screen (as well as top-quality audio) The typing and touchpad experiences are well above average too, and thanks to its compact dimensions and fanless design, it's just about the perfect device to take on the move with you. Is it the right laptop for you though? There's no doubt it's expensive – more to do with the quality of the materials used to make it and the display than the specs inside.

Reviewer score 74%The MateBook X runs a full version of Windows 10 with no compromises or missing features. You'll continue to receive updates and software support from Microsoft no matter what. Huawei Share lets you share files between a Huawei or Honor phone and your laptop. It's genuinely one of the best ecosystem implementations around, but it does hinge on using a current Huawei phone.

The 13-inch panel's 3,000 x 2,000 resolution results in very good pixel density. We were very pleased with the overall performance, including the laptop's battery life.
