Product Overview

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is a new flagship 1000R-curved ultra-wide gaming monitor. An upgrade from the original Odyssey G9, this 49-inch Dual-QHD monitor now employs Mini-LED backlighting for even better contrast and dynamic range.
This is highlighted by the Odyssey Neo G9's support of Quantum Matrix HDR2000, which is one of the highest HDR level available in a gaming monitor today. Another area where Samsung has upgraded is in I/O: the Neo G9 comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports that further improves high-refresh-rate gaming.
Beyond these upgrades, the Neo G9 inherits all the features of the original G9, including 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and ultra-low 2ms input lag.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 has a large 49 inch screen with a 5120x1440 resolution. It's great for content creators and media consumers because it displays deep blacks and has a good local dimming feature. The 32:9 aspect ratio VA LCD panel on the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is backlit using the same quantum mini LED technology used in Samsung's top-end TVs. As well as a maximum 2,000 nits of brightness, the monitor offers a 1ms response time, a maximum 240Hz refresh rate, 100 percent of the sRGB gamut, and support for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Pro. The ultra-widescreen form factor makes a significant difference in lots of games – from racing games to first-person shooters.

Huge contrast and deep black point means that games and films have incredible punch, subtlety and depth. Connectivity is handled by two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. Neo still has its ring of RGB LEDs, but they’re still only configurable in fifty-two colours. The Neo also has a feature called CoreSync, which matches the lights to the colours produced in games.
