Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro uses a precise, ThinkPad-esque keyboard. The 1.5mm of key travel is luxurious, and the layout is perfect. The backlighting is fairly limited, with just four zones of customization. The laptop doesn't include any security features, however, lacking both a Windows Hello IR camera and fingerprint reader.

  • Limited backlighting

The Legion 5 Pro converted a 4K video to 1080p resolution using the Handbrake app in just 7 minutes and 6 seconds. The ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition lasted for 10 hours and 14 minutes on a charge. Lenovo Vantage is the go-to software for tinkering with performance, cooling and optimizing apps.

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is a solid gaming laptop that will probably allow you to play all the current games at high graphics settings. The large cooling elements dissipate most of the heat from the case of the Lenovo gaming laptop. The battery life more than doubled in idle operation and in the WiFi websurfing test after turning on the hybrid mode.

  • Matte IPS display
  • High-quality case

  • Good battery life
Cons
  • High power consumption

pcmag[4]

Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro offers a winning AMD and Nvidia combination. It delivers outstanding overall performance behind a uniquely roomy display. The 16-inch, 16:10 screen offers more visual real estate and pixels than a typical 15.6-inch gaming laptop. We just handed our award to the Acer Predator Helios 300, but it's a near-run thing.
Find the original article here.
Pros
  • Attractive 16-inch, 16:10 display
  • Powerful AMD and Nvidia graphics
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro outperforms the Asus Zephyrus G15 in terms of pure gaming performance. In our 3DMark tests, the Legion 5Pro consistently beat the Zeph Cyrus G15. The 80WHr battery in the Legion5 Pro does an admirable job. The one thing you must absolutely not uninstall is the Lenovo Vantage software.

theverge[6]

Reviewers from theverge have found the following***:
The Legion 5 Pro has an 80Wh battery that lasts for about four and a half hours under normal productivity (not gaming) use. The screen gets bright enough to make it possible to work outdoors or to sit next to a window that's giving off some glare without squinting. Lenovo earns some props, though, for supporting USB-C charging (up to 65W)

  • Good performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Dim bezels

Reviewers from tomshardware have found the following***:
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro comes with a 720p webcam that has surprisingly strong quality under ideal lighting conditions, but becomes drastically worse in low or heavy light. The hottest part of the laptop was in the middle of the underside vents, where it reached 102.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Lenovo Vantage is where you'll probably spend most of your tinkering time, plus toggle different battery saving and performance options on and off.

Pros
  • High-resolution 16:10 display
