Product Overview

Ultimate Ears FITS are true wireless headphones with an "instant custom fit": Thanks to the company's Lightform technology, the UE FITS are able to mold to fit each individual ear perfectly in under a minute, going beyond swappable tips.
During the intuitive fitting process, the UE FITS app connects to the earbuds and triggers the embedded LEDs, which emit a gentle purple glow. Lightform technology uses light to harden the gel-filled tips to the contours of each ear, transforming them into earbuds that perfectly fit the consumer’s ear. This personalized fit provides wearable comfort free of pressure, pain or irritation, even after extended use. There is also an added benefit in noise isolation, thanks to a superior seal.
The UE FITS are engineered with premium single dynamic 10mm drivers. The FITS deliver up to eight hours of continuous listening on a single charge, extendable to 20 hours with the charging case.

Reviewers from laptopmag have found the following***:
UE Fits are arguably the most innovative wireless earbuds out there. The concept of self-molding eartips is ingenious and helps set the product apart from the competition. At 8 hours on a full charge, the Fits have some of the steadiest battery life in the category.

  • Sleek design
  • Excellent call quality
  • Easy to use app
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • No multi-tap gestures

pcmag[2]

Reviewer score 77%
Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
UE Fits deliver a bass-forward, sculpted sound. At top, unwise listening levels, the bass doesn't distort. Only one pair of eartips is included, and it's unclear whether you'd have to pay for another pair. The audio can be altered in a variety of ways using the app's EQ.

Pros
  • Sculpted, sculpted sound signature
  • Comfortable fit
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only one pair of eartips included

rtings[3]

Reviewer score 32%
Reviewers from rtings have found the following***:
The Ultimate Ears FITS are adequate for neutral sound. They don't leak a lot of noise, so you can crank up the volume without really bothering your coworkers. Their integrated microphone has a fair recording quality, so your voice is understandable but also a bit thin and unnatural.

Pros
  • Graphic EQ and presets available in companion app
  • Well-built design
  • Comfortable, stable fit
  • Good noise isolation performance
Cons
  • No IP rating for water resistance
  • Mediocre battery life

wired[4]

Reviewer score 84%
Reviewers from wired have found the following***:
Ultimate Ears Fits are the most comfortable wireless earbuds I've ever tested. A great, custom-fitted seal means you get pretty awesome passive noise reduction. Call quality is decent too, thanks to two included microphones. The biggest issue with the Fits is the lack of a great sweat-resistance rating.

Pros
  • Great passive noise reduction
  • Comfortable fit
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Touch controls aren’t great
