The Nikon B600 offers maximum zoom on a minimum budget. Image quality is relatively consistent from the wide angle to the maximum zoom. Images tend to be a tad softer both at full zoom and in macro mode. While the camera captures decent shots in good lighting conditions, we couldn't get a sharp shot indoors.
This rundown provides our analysis on 8 third-party reviews. The sentiment scores, summaries, and key takeaways that we select are based on these reviews and may differ from the original publication.

Reviewers from Digitaltrends have found the following[***]:
At about $330, the Nikon Coolpix B600 falls easily into the budget category, but brings with it a 60x zoom lens. There's a mode dial on the top, zoom toggle around the shutter button, and a spattering of buttons on the back. While the auto modes do a generally decent job of getting the exposure right, the camera tends to keep the shutter speed relatively low in most modes.

Reviewers from Pcmag have found the following[***]:
The Nikon Coolpix B600 ($329.95) is a small camera with a lot of zoom power. It gets there by using a smartphone-sized image sensor and a relatively dim aperture lens. It keeps size and price down by omitting useful features like a tilting LCD. For the money, we recommend the Panasonic FZ80 more highly.
