Reviewers from cnet have found the following***:
The ExpertBook uses Asus' ErgoLift hinge, which lifts the bottom for better ventilation and a slight keyboard tilt. Asus' NumberPad 2.0 is a virtual numeric keypad that comes up on the touchpad. The matte-textured shell doesn't attract fingerprints, but does tend to get scuffed and dusty.

Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Good battery life
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Lacks a number pad
  • Keyboard placement is awkward

Reviewers from laptopmag have found the following***:
The ExpertBook B9450 has a very attractive, midnight-pearlescent chassis. Its 1080p screen is relatively bright and vivid, and the anti-glare finish makes it great for outdoor use. Graphics performance isn't the ExpertBook's strong suit, so you might need an eGPU to play your favorite games.

Pros
  • Gorgeous 16-inch 1080p display
  • Long battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Subpar webcam
  • Short battery life

, rival the performance of a dedicated GeForce MX350. In the synthetic 3DMark benchmarks, the ExpertBook performs about 8% better than the average laptop with the same iGPU. Under load, it is 25% louder than the ThinkPad X1 Nano which offers 20% less performance in 3D applications. The Xe Graphics G7 cannot always achieve playable frame rates at 1080p and high settings.

The Asus ExpertBook B9450FA is directed at business users that mainly work with office applications. The processor in our test unit, Intel Core i7-10510U, is a quad-core processor that can work up to eight threads simultaneously. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 is responsible for displaying graphics content.

Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The Asus ExpertBook lasted for an astounding 30 hours while playing video. This is quite literally more than the often-touted "all-day battery life" It's a perfect match for the super-portable form factor. It's not our unequivocal business recommendation (that would be the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon)

  • Super-portable design
  • Long battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

pcmag[6]

Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The B9450CEA proved one of the better performers for media editing. It fell far short of the incredible 30-hour video-editing battery life of its predecessor. If you like its style and are counting every ounce to save weight, there's nothing wrong with the ExpertBook.

Pros
  • Thin, light, and light
  • Excellent battery life
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Lackluster performance
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

theverge[7]

Reviewer score 80%
Reviewers from theverge have found the following***:
The Core i7-10510U is a four-core processor that's significantly lower-powered than the chips you'll see in the best laptops on the market like the Dell XPS 13. The ExpertBook is just fine for basic office work — emails, Google Docs, Slack, Zoom calls, that sort of thing. But if you think you'll ever need to do strenuous work on this, especially tasks that leverage the integrated graphics, you'll want to look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Lightweight and light for a 14-inch laptop
  • Lots of ports and storage
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Fans can get loud
  • No Thunderbolt 3

For everyday work, photo-editing, and media, the Asus’ display is top-notch. The lid folds flat for easier collaboration, and the drop-hinge means the bottom bezel vanishes entirely, which looks sleek. The Asus relies on the familiar Core i7-1165G7, with four cores and a potential top speed of 4.7GHz.
