Rundown

Reviewers from androidauthority have found the following[***]:
There are precious few differences between the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and the GT 2 or 2e before it. The Pro's exterior housing is slightly different and marginally larger and there's an updated heart-rate setup on the back. You can answer or reject incoming calls on the watch, control music playing on your phone (or stored locally on your watch), and listen to music on paired earbuds. The 4GB of storage affords just over 2GB for your own stuff.

  • Stylish design
  • Wireless charging
  • Good call quality
  • Long battery life
Cons[**]
  • Nothing in particular

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following[***]:
The Watch GT 2 Pro is the first and, at the time of this test, only smartwatch from Huawei that has wireless charging technology. With GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and numerous sensors, the premium watch is well equipped as a companion for sports and health analyses. Huawei uses its own apps for health analysis: TruRelax analyzes stress levels and TruSleep analyzes sleep.

Pros[**]
  • Good battery life
  • Accurate GPS
  • High-quality case
  • Good fitness features
Cons[**]
  • Mediocre call quality
  • Only one year of warranty

phonearena[3]

Sentiment Score[*] 82%
Reviewers from phonearena have found the following[***]:
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is an excellent fitness and health watch. It boasts a gorgeous OLED display, amazing battery life, and a ton of fitness features. It's held back only by its somehow limited connectivity options (no cellular or Wi-Fi), and lack of third-party apps support. But if you want a great looking piece of gear with fitness-rich features, and don't want to charge it every day, it's a very compelling option.

  • Great battery life
Cons[**]

  • Limited workout modes

techadvisor[4]

Sentiment Score[*] 81%
Reviewers from techadvisor have found the following[***]:
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is the latest entry in the company's GT 2 series of smartwatches. It's a titanium-bodied smartwatch that incorporates sapphire glass and ceramic into its construction. For the first time on a Huawei watch, the Pro supports wireless charging, instead of using a pogo pin-based connection. Not much has changed with regards to the Lite OS-powered software on the Pro.

Pros[**]
  • Sapphire glass and ceramic back
  • Fluoroelastomer strap
  • Wireless charging
Cons[**]
  • Nothing in particular

techradar[5]

Sentiment Score[*] 81%
Reviewers from techradar have found the following[***]:
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is one of the best looking round smartwatches we've used. It strikes the balance of being a well-weighted, traditional looking smartwatch with a big, bold display. The 1.39-inch screen size means the watch isn't small - and in turn, it won't appeal to anyone with daintier wrists looking for a subtle watch.

Pros[**]
  • Beautiful OLED display
  • Fantastic battery life
  • Wireless charging
Cons[**]
  • Doesn't support third-party apps

trustedreviews[6]

Sentiment Score[*] 75%
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found the following[***]:
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is a smartwatch that wants to fool you into thinking it's less clever than it actually is. The body is made from slick grey titanium that gives an oddly, but welcome, light feel and there's sapphire glass over the display to protect from scratches. While this isn't selling itself as an active watch, Huawei has impressed with its tracking abilities before and there are plenty of fitness features.

Pros[**]
  • Excellent battery life
  • Lots of workout options
  • Excellent fitness features
Cons[**]
  • Somewhat slow charging
  • Slow heart rate monitor
