Reviewer score 69%The JBL Live 300TWS are capable earbuds that deliver fair performance for the price. The buds don't carry the same pure bass resonance as some of JBL's other models. Bluetooth 5.0 was strong, giving me up to 40 feet of wireless listening before audio began stuttering.

Pros
- Sleek design
- Comfortable fit
- Strong battery life
Cons
- No wireless charging
- No multipoint technology
macworld[2]
Reviewer score 62%The JBL Live300TWS are excellent earbuds for that price. They may not be as impressive as JBL's TWS, but they make them a worthy option. The microphone yields crisper recordings than Apple's AirPods Pro. With some tweaking, I could get Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" to deliver a satisfying thump.

Pros
- Excellent sound quality
- Excellent noise cancellation
- Good battery life
Cons
- No wireless charging
- Limited touch gestures
pcmag[3]
Reviewer score 82%On tracks with intense sub-bass content, the JBL Live 300TWS deliver a laudable thump. There's plenty of low-frequency response at moderate volumes, and at top, unwise listening levels, the bass is powerful. The higher-register brass, strings, and vocals retain their prominent, crisp place in the spotlight.

Pros
- Strong audio performance
- Powerful bass depth
- Water-resistant design
Cons
- In-app EQ can be fiddly
rtings[4]
Reviewer score 38%The JBL LIVE 300TWS are decent truly wireless in-ears for mixed usage. They're comfortable enough to wear all day at work or during a long flight. Their sound profile is balanced enough for most genres and content. Unfortunately, they don't block out much background noise, so they may not be the best choice to help block out engine rumbles on the bus or keep you concentrated at work.

Pros
- Well-balanced and accurate sound profile
- Great companion app
- Comfortable enough to wear all day at work or during a long flight
- Good companion app with parametric EQ and presets
Cons
- Mediocre microphone performance
- Poor battery life
whathifi[5]
Reviewer score 56%The JBL Live 300TWS are not pitched as a sports in-ear, but it's still a little disappointing to see an IPX5 rather than IPX7 rating. You get a maximum 20 hours in total before needing a power source, but thanks to the USB-C charger, when you do juice up you can get a one-hour boost in just 10 minutes. While the headphones carry the Bluetooth 5.0 spec, they don't have aptX.

Pros
- Attractive design
- Good sound quality
- Good battery life
Cons
- No aptX
- No IPX7 rating
