Stadia Cloud Is Coming to LG's 2021 Smart TVs
LG's 2021 smart TVs are set to receive support with Google's Stadia clouding gaming platform. It will allow owners of LG's new OLED, QNED (MiniLED), and NanoCell TVs to enjoy immersive online gaming without a local gaming console or PC.

Gaming on the Cloud
Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service that streams video games at up to 4K 60 fps. It not only allows users to game without any hardware beyond the TV (or another compatible device) but also makes a large collection of the latest games available. Currently, over 130 games are on offer, with more being added regularly.
For Stadia Pro users, LG's 2021 smart TVs will support 4K gaming with 5.1 surround sound, with a large selection of the latest and hottest game titles.

2021 Update Schedule
LG is planning to launch the new service in the second half of 2021 as a downloadable app from the LG Content Store in countries where Stadia is available.

Gaming on Smart TVs
In general, Smart TVs offer superior image quality compared to gaming monitors. This is especially true in the case of LG's latest OLED and IPS (QNED / MiniLED and NanoCell) models. As manufacturers continue to reduce the input lag of their latest TVs, and as the refresh rates of smart TVs increase in the last two years, TVs are becoming an apparent choice for gaming.
