Description
Jaguar is a brand of premium and luxury vehicles owned by Jaguar Land Rover, a British automaker. The brand can trace its roots back to the 1930s, when the first Jaguar vehicle appeared. Over the years, the ownership of Jaguar changed hands a number of times, most notably under the ownership of British Leyland, Ford, and now Tata.
These ownership changes left marks on Jaguar's historic and current vehicle lineup, with the owner company sharing technologies and production facilities with the brand.
